I had left the safety of the colony behind and thought I had made it, I was not alone.
The pursuer was programed to keep its distance but never stop. I was never going to make it now. The only way was to go back. I turned to face the one wheeled bastard and opened fire. I knew I couldn't destroy it but I could try to keep it in front of me.
We raced at ridiculous speeds over the flat volcanic terrain until I could see the huge structure that was home. I didn't want to go back, I had no choice.

Petshop
Me and my friend Lauren we're walking along the high street just cheking out the shops and enjoying the beautiful weather. We stoped at a petshop and decided to go in. This was no ordinary pet shop, the walls were painted brilliant white and were adorned with glass shelves and boxes which housed the strangest of creatures you will ever see. They all look like they should have come from the bottom of the sea or a nother planet and could all fit in the palm of your hand. This seemed strange to us a first but the reason for their size soon became apparent.
These weren't pets that you take home in box or on lead, oh no, these pets had to be swallowed. SWALLOWED! The petshop didn't sell animals it rented them to you for as long as you wanted. It was like they couldn't survive unless they were in a human host and when you have finished you simply came back to the shop and regurgitated the animals back into the boxes. It was probably the most disgusting thing we had ever seen, people throwing up colorfull gelatinous blobs into trays and boxes ready for the next person to come along and swallow them up. One man who was sitting with his dog on his lap, regurgitated his pet straight into the dogs mouth much like a bird feeding its young.
Lauren and I decided we didn't really want a pet and left the shop. I woke up.
